We need all the coaches we can get to help make our Mite and U8 program a success. If you are interested in coaching, please email Mites@anokaareahockey.com or find Jay Wagamon at the Mite table during open house to sign up.
All coaches will need to register with USA Hockey, Anoka Hockey, receive their Level 1 Coaching Certificate, Background Check and complete their SafeSport Certificate and Concussion Training before going on the ice. Links to complete these steps are on coaches corner and a link to that is listed below.
Thank you in advance for your help with the Mite and U8 program.

Being a Team Manager is a great way to get involved and fulfill your
volunteer hours. The Team Manager needs to be well organized as they will be responsible for facilitating all communication with the team (ice times, team events, registering for Jamborees) and tasks set by the Mite Administrator. If you’re interested, make sure to let your selected coach know once teams have been formed. *A team manager cannot be the spouse of a currently rostered coach (head or assistant).
If air temp is below 10 or wind chill is 0 or lower please do not have the kids skating outside. Frostbite can happen fast at these extreme temperatures. If you have any questions please contact Jay Wagamon.
If you have any questions regarding AAHA's Jr. Tornado MITE program, please contact Jay Wagamon at the email located on top of this page.
